Aaron Donald

Aaron Donald is an American football player born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on May 23, 1991. He currently plays as a defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. Donald started playing football at the age of 12 when his father wanted more structure in his son’s life. He attended high school at Penn Hills High School and played football for the school team. He was selected first team All-State Class AAAA in both of his final seasons in high school. He went to college at the University of Pittsburgh and played for the Pittsburgh Panthers. In his final season with the team in 2013 he was awarded the Lombardi Award, the Chuck Bednarik Award, the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, and the Outland Trophy. In 2014 he was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft, 13th overall. He was signed to a four year contract for $10.13 million with a $5.68 million signing bonus. Donald made his NFL debut on September 16, 2014 against the Minnesota Vikings. In 2015 the Rams relocated to Los Angeles making them the Los Angeles Rams. In 2018 Aaron signed a six-year extension contract for $135 million.
