Andrew Dalton was born on October 29, 1987 in Katy, Texas. Daltons football career started at Katy High School where he started full time position as the quarterback for the team in 2005. He attended Texas Christian University where he was red-shirted for freshman year but was named starting quarterback for the rest of his college days.
On June 29, 2011 the Cincinnati Bengals signed a contract with Dalton as first-string quarterback. While with the Bengals, he was selected twice to appear at the Pro Bowl. He is also only one of six quarterbacks in NFL history to through over 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons. He was also only one of five rookie quarterbacks to have at least 20 touchdown passes per season. Dalton was also the only quarterback to lead the Bengals to four playoff berths in a row.
